Beautiful Sunny Sunday

Wow!  Spring is here in all it's glory today.  We enjoyed a day in the yard while Harry worked on my van.  Well, ok, so I was inside quite a bit with a sore throat and runny nose.  But, the kids were outside all day!

The Marlows came over for a quick bbq.  Tara has a 12 hour shift at work tonight and they had to leave early.  Katie loved running around the yard with her big cousins.  I didn't get a  chance to take pics as I was getting dinner ready but will be carrying my camera around a lot more now that the weather seems to be cooperating more and more :)

We have so many plans for our backyard this year!  I am going to pressure wash and re-paint the patio, Harry wants to build up a huge berm filled with trees and all kinds of flowers, we may plant blueberries, I would like to fill my flower beds with more wildflowers and maybe peas...  Can't wait to get started!  LOVE this time of year!

I have been working my tail off to bring you the bestest online scrapbook store EVER!!!  :)  No, really... it's been a lot of hours so far but also a lot of FUN.  What a learning experience!!!

Girlz Night with a Little Bling

Happy (almost) Wednesday!

It's nearly midnight so I'll make this short 'n' sweet since I am ready to hit the hay...

I just got back home from a fun girlz night in Abby.  There was some very pretty jewelry calling my name...!  A lovely lady (Kim) is new to selling Lia Sophia Jewelry ans she had some beautiful pieces there to try on.  I have been looking for just the right thumb ring and I think I finally found it!

Can hardly wait the two weeks :)

Hangin' at Auntie's

I finally broke out my camera yesterday (been a few weeks) and took advantage of the amazing light that was coming through our living room window.  Didn't hurt that I had this little sweetie as my subject :)

We watched Katie for a couple of hours while Tara went for a beautification treatment (hair).  There were cousins crawling all over each other! 


Tomorrow we get to do it all over again while Mommy and Daddy are at work.  6am comes pretty stinkin' early but Katie's little face and bright smiles clear the cobwebs out of my head <3

Not a Lot Done Today

Not getting a whole lot done this sunny Tuesday in Chilliwack...  Went for coffee to Tara's this morning,  returned a movie to Blockbuster (127 Hours), supervised Connor raking all the bits of branches throughout the back yard, returned some e-mails...  My plan was to get all of these wholesale accounts set up and start on my "to do list" from my web designer.  Oh well.  It's a lovely day and we get to play with little Katie Mae some more while her Mommy gets her hair done!  They should be here in a few :)

I am still working up the brain power to upload some pics onto this laptop...  (don't hold your breaht)  LOL

Wait just a minute!  I DID get something else accomplished today!  I blogged again!!!!!!!!!!!!  har har har  Twice in a week :D

Not Quite A Year

Ok, Ok, so I suck as a blogger!  LOL  I better get my butt in gear, eh?  I mean, it has only been 10 months since last Mother's Day...

Today began with a wonderful breakfast out with my wonderful family.  Then, we came home and all found things to do around the house.  Harry working on his work truck's rear-end, Connor raking leaves and branches in the backyard, Kenzie drawing and playing Lego, myself hooking up my new wireless printer and doing more organizing in my scraproom/office.

It's now 5:50pm and I just realized it\s dinner time.  yipes!  I have been wrapped up in all this new business business too...

Didn't I mention that already???  Ya, I have decided to start an online scrapbooking supply store!  May 1st is the date I am shooting for.  Biz license is complete, wholesale accts are happening, website is being created...  Wahoo!!!

I have a new laptop without any photos so I will leave this post pretty boring :(  Will work on the pics as soon as I have a spare moment...  har har har  Spare moment...  LOL

Mother's Day - BC Style

...

My 8th Mother's Day began with 2 beautiful boys giving me 2 beautiful mini rosebushes that they thoughtfully chose for me.  The hand-made cards brought (proud, happy) tears to my eyes.  I will treasure them always.

A quick cup of coffee and a shower was followed by brunch at a local restaurant (where we waited for an hour before our order was brought to us... grrr), but was so nice to be away from the messes at home :)

The plan was to meet my cousins Danielle & Corinne with little Madison and Aunt Gloria, Tara, Shenna, and little Katie at Harrison beach for a noon picnic.  While I rushed to gather what we need for an afternoon at the lakeshore, Harry went to fill our Subway order.

The day was gloriously beautiful!  Sunshine, sunshine, and more sunshine!  I am truly blessed to have such wonderful boys and a fabulous family!

The only thing missing is my amazing mom.  She's sorely missed right now as she's never far from my thoughts.  The time difference has made it difficult to connect over Mother's Day, but we'll keep trying to connect.
